We’ve partnered with HERO to create the Egon Zehnder Climate Circle, your space to spark an employee led movement to bring sustainability simply and systemically into the agenda of the whole company.

HERO brings more than 15 years of expertise in movement building to empower teams to act on climate.
How does it work?
Stage 1: It’s time to start
your movement.
You are invited to become 1 of 15 Climate Heroes. Climate Heroes are employees that want to become leading advocates of change inside the company.

This involves a two-week sprint with several sessions we have organized to guide you to identify actionable steps that all teams in the practice can take to embed sustainability systemically in their work. For example, incorporating Stewardship and Sustainable Leadership in all client proposals.

Beyond the sprint, you'll act as a catalyst in our company, driving our shared climate goals

Stage 2:  It’s time to grow
your movement.
As a Climate HERO you will be ready at this stage to recruit the next 100 Climate Champions to accelerate the company’s climate goals. Climate Champions are employees that want to do more for the climate and are ready to act.

Over the rest of the year we will do 3 sprints of 2 weeks, each leading to an actionable step that all teams can take, around the following topics:

- Stewardship and Sustainable Leadership in Recruiting.
- Circular Economy in Recruiting.
- The Opportunity of Corporate Sustainable Reporting for Leaders.
It’s all about the action.
Each stage is composed of Action Modules designed with people at the center, to drive climate action through employee participation,   drawing on the knowledge of leading climate campaigners and experts.

These modules include Leadership Talks, Immersive Experiences, Talks by Climate Experts, Collaborative Workshops and Challenges.

The Egon Zehnder Climate Circle is a collaborative initiative designed to ignite a movement to bring sustainability simply and systemically into the agenda of the whole company. It is facilitated by HERO's movement-building expertise.
Who can become a Climate HERO and what does it entail?
A Climate HERO is one of 15 leaders chosen to spearhead sustainability changes. These consultants and partners participate in a 2-week sprint to design systemic integration of sustainability in the company, such as embedding stewardship and sustainable leadership in client proposals, and then lead to action by the next 100 champions.
How will the Climate Champion phase expand the movement?
Climate Heroes recruit additional team members to join the movement, focusing on spearheading sustainability through three subsequent sprints on topics like circular economy and corporate sustainability reporting.

The program provides leadership training, immersive experiences, and the opportunity to lead impactful sustainability initiatives within the company, enhancing both personal and professional growth. Participants will earn an Egon Zehnder Climate HERO LinkedIn Certification.
What time commitment is expected from me as a HERO if I join the Egon Zehnder Climate Circle ?
As a HERO in the Egon Zehnder Climate Circle, you'll need to dedicate time for each sprint's events, which include workshops, talks, and meetings, typically amounting to a few hours each week, in addition to your regular responsibilities.
